The story

You Are What You Eat follows a kleptomaniac girl, Lucie, who realizes she can get away with stealing if she eats what she takes. She steals and subsequently munches on items of growing absurdity, like a penny, ring, USB stick, etc., and at the culmination of the film, she finally becomes what she’s eaten. This film is a satirical exploration of the garish foolishness of teenage girlhood, and uses genre and absurdity to tell its story.
