The story

We proceeded with the project "That Place Gaepo-dong" to gather people's memories of the spaces and trees that will disappear from the Gaepo-Jugong Apartments, which are set to be redeveloped. (...) We recorded a documentary the process of attempting to preserve the metasequoias that long lived on the site designated as a park within the redevelopment complex. Ultimately, the trees could not be saved. However, the felled trees and their stumps were moved to Seoul Forest Park to serve as a memorial. (Lee Seong-min)
