What it’s about

The story

"Vera is a Nazi, her brother helps refugees" - The Schimanski siblings, Vera and Folke grows up in Steglitz, Berlin. Their mother is Swedish and housewife. Their father is an unemployed engineer. The family is very poor, lives in two room and are forced to rent out one of them to survive financially. Eventually, Vera and Folke's father joined the German Nazi Party's Sturmabteilung, SA. When Hitler rises to power everything changes.
