Tiflisi

The story

A Georgian drama set in 19th-century Georgia. Following the abolition of serfdom, noblemen carve up spheres of influence—trading in human beings, controlling trade routes, and terrorizing the populace. Outlaws who have taken to the forests operate in opposition to them. The conflict shifts to Tiflis—a vibrant city teeming with travelers, merchants, *ashughs* (troubadours), *karachokhelis*, *kintos*, and various types of brigands.
