The legend of the eagle and the cactus

The story

Based on Mexican folklore and Aztec mythology, the story follows Tenoch, the young and brilliant leader of the Aztecs, with guidance from his god, Huitzilopochtli. He took his people to a land to build a city in his name, but after the people persist on calling it “Tenochtitlan”, Huitzilopochtli becomes angered, so he sends priests down to tenochtitlan to ruin Tenoch’s reputation among the Aztecs.
