The story

This dance film is a love letter to cancer previvors facing difficult decisions about their health and bodies while enduring waves of isolation, guilt, and emotional turmoil. Dancer/choreographer and ATM gene mutation carrier Nikiya Palombi performs in shifting sands before and after undergoing preventative double mastectomy surgeries, to document the mourning of a body lost, and celebrate a body reborn.
