The story

(IN)VISIBLE LINES follows seven women who have sought refuge in Germany, capturing the rhythms of their everyday lives as they navigate the complexities of European bureaucracy and German society. Interwoven with the perspectives of four women working in the field of migration, the documentary reveals the visible and invisible barriers its protagonists face while highlighting their agency, resilience, and expertise. Offering a powerful counterpoint to dehumanising narratives around migration, (IN)VISIBLE LINES foregrounds the voices and lived experiences of women too often overlooked.
