The story

"Crucified" is a feature film based on Leo Tolstoy's notes, which were banned at various times. Religious beliefs and inquisitorial persecution, fear in the eyes of people and their faith in justice, love and hate, nature and humanity—all these themes are reflected in this phantasmagoric film.
