The story

In a moment of crisis, troubled gas station worker Jacob calls a Christian healing hotline after spotting its number on a roadside advertisement. On the other end is David, a volunteer counselor determined to reach him through compassion and faith. But as their conversation stretches across an increasingly tense day, Jacob begins revealing an obsession with his upstairs neighbor-and intentions that grow progressively darker. As David desperately tries to keep him on the line, the call becomes a confrontation with rage, trauma, forgiveness, and the possibility that the person Jacob is really fighting may be himself. 1-800-HE-HEALS is a psychological drama about our desperate need for connection and the ways we push it away when we need it most.
